  • NORTH FIRST DISTRICT (AKKAR – BCHARREY – DENNIEH)

    "POPULAR WILL LIST" was announced yesterday noon from Halba, Akkar, 
    in the presence of an immense popular crowd of Akkar's, Dennieh's, and Bcharrey's sons.
    It consisted of:
  • AKKAR:

Mohammad Yehia, Mohammad Khaled Zohbi, and Ali Tleiss (for 3 Sunni seats)

Riad Sarraf, and Karim Rassi (for 2 Orthodox seats)

Fawzi Hbeiche (for Maronite seat)

Ali El Ali (for one Alawite seat).


  • DENNIEH:

    Jihad El Samad (for one Sunni seat and the second One was kept vacant till unknown date)


  • BCHARREY:

Jubran Tawk and Benoit Kayrouz (for 2 Maronite seats)

HEZBOLLAH ANNOUNCES THE NAMES OF ITS CANDIDATES IN SOUTH PROVINCE & OTHER LEBANESE PROVINCES

Nasrallah affirmed of continuing the resistance till liberating the rest of the occupied territories, and announces from Jibcheit, Hezbollah's candidates' names in the South, Bekaa, Beirut, and Baabda Provinces, saying that the alliance with Amal Movement is final, and voting will be for all the lists committed by the South.
The names are:

Hajj Mohammad Fneich (for Bint Jbeil)

Hajj Nazih Mansour (for Marjeyoun)

Hajj Abdallah Kassir (for Tyre)

Hajj Mohammad Hassan Yaghi, Sayyed ammar Mousawi, and Brother Dr. Hussein Hajj Hassan (for Bekaa – Hermel)

Hajj Mohammad Berjawi (for Beirut Second District)


  • COMMUNIST PARTY SPEAKS

Communist Party will incite the subject of excepting south, after the end of Israeli occupation, and fixes four of its candidates. Its political office studies additional nominations, but Suha Bchara does not wish to nominate herself…. The Party refuses the "Tractors" lists, and trends toward the democratic direction.
The fixed names are:

Party General Secretary Farouk Dahrouj (for Sunni seat in Rachaya-West Bekaa),

Party Vice Presidet saadallah Mazraani (for Chiite seat in South),

Member of the Political Office Tanious Deaibes (for Maronite seat in Baabda-Aley, who is nominated for the first time),

Dr. Ghassan Achkar (for Orthodox seat in Akkar First District).


  • FORMER PRIME MINISTER 'S RAFIC HARIRI BEIRUT LISTS

President Hariri announces his Beirut lists, and leaves space for the Chiite seat in the Second District, saying that it is a chance for a real change, and we are not spending more than the least limit.

Hariri inaugurated officially Beirut electoral battle, by announcing the members of dignity lists, through which he is going to launch his battle in the three Districts.
