• Three main files captured the concern of the official and popular medias, due to the actualities they held and which were reflected on more than a domain.

• The first file is local, and relates to the trial and the questioning of the Court for some officials in Electricity Du Liban for the first time, through a report arranged by Central Investigation, accusing them of carelessness and shortening within the Board of Directors of the Establishment. This file opens way to the severe living and life conditions as the street will view within the coming few days, demonstrations protesting against the social situation resulted by the bad experience of unemployment, and by having the companies and individuals dismissed in great numbers their employees and workers.

• Next file is the always-present elections issue, due to the approaching date of elections, the districts and areas view attracting motion regarding the alliances and the competitions. Meanwhile, all awaiting for the Secret Word, which composes the lists, those lists will appear clearly by time. Then comes the issue of the South, the verification of the complete Israeli withdrawal, and the treatment of the violations, remain locally important. Medias wait, observing the movement of the International Envoy Terje Roed-Larsen, as it was said that he will come back to the Region and to Lebanon, on Thursday, bearing with him the final answers for the way to end the violations, and the complete treatment of this file. In the meantime, it was announced in Lebanon that the conference of the Granting Countries will be held on 27 th of July in Beirut, on the level of Ministers and Ambassadors, whereas some Granting Countries had not determined their participation and level of representation.

• Finally, the last file which the medias do watch, is regional, as today the Plebiscite operation takes place, to choose Brigadier General Bachar Asad, as President to Syria, together with the reformation project, and the future dealing with Lebanon.

• An-nahar mentioned electoral-wise, that the meeting, past Saturday, between Hoss and Hariri, resulted in establishing an accord named "Gentlemen's", for neutralizing the elections in Beirut from any misdeeds or ill manners against such operation, which is supposed to be a phase of the Parliamentary and Democratic regime. Politically speaking, An-nahar considered that the results of Sayyed Nassrallah's visit to Tehran will show up through the way of dealing of Hezbollah with the International Troops, and with the Israeli violations, if continued. The Newspaper saw that the reformation current views that the military role of Hezbollah finished with the liberation of the Land, and that it is improper to let this Party or Lebanon in other conflicts which could be of unknown results. It considered that the reserved current in Iran demands of Hezbollah to resume its career to reach the liberation of the Holy Land (Jerusalem).

• The Future newspaper spoke about the electoral issue, and re-mentioned the electoral Law. It considered that when the government suggested the project of dividing the electoral districts in Lebanon, and then when the House decided the law, it happened that those who prepared such law, aimed distancing a group or groups of parties, letting way for certain alliances to achieve a portion of the wanted results, where law alone is not sufficient to achieve them.

• Ad-diyar, always the electoral issue, exclaimed astonished, of some Lebanese directions who consider that Damascus is regionally vulnerable or is busy? As it was noticed that those who were expressing their affairs in Damascus, resolved to make use of profiting a swift popular support or to announce of their points of view, showing or pretending the guise of trend towards reformation in all the Region. The Newspaper said that some of these parties and allies had suddenly abandoned the alliance with Damascus, and freed themselves of their past duties. Ad-diyar mentioned that information was rumored about President Nabih Berri receiving MP Zaher EL Khatib in his list instead of MP Ahmad Souweid, after being refused by MP Walid Joumblatt in his Chouf list.

• Al-liwaa spoke of big divergences between officials for continuing the appointments of the administrative vacant positions, and those, which will be vacant soon, towards the timing and names.

• 'Al-kifah el-arabi' said that a Lebanese-Syrian summit will be held in the 20 th of this July, upon having Brig. Gen. Bachar Asad visited Beirut, and meeting President Lahhoud. The Newspaper saw that the reflections of this visit will appear in many files, the most significant is the legislative elections event. It disclosed that many are lingering in announcing their alliances, and their lists, for not to have the account be unidentical with the results.
