Significant Incidents:

• The file of the Syrian situation and the smooth transformation of power after the funeral of Late President Hafez Asad today, remained the main significant incident of the political media's concern. Meanwhile, speeches by the Late President's brother, Dr. Rifaat Asad, who is banned from coming to Syria, were recorded as swearing to regain the legitimacy in the country.

• Also, the issue of South Lebanon, the question of accomplishing the demarcation, and the verification of the Israeli withdrawal, are still capturing exceptional care, especially after having handled the memo to the UN General Secretary, by President of the Republic Maj.
