The
Operation of the International confirmation for the
Israeli withdrawal entered its last stage, which means
that UN General Secretary, Kofi Anan, will declare this
confirmation within few hours or days.

According
to what the General Secretary’s Delegate, Terje Roed-Larsen
said, UN will finalize today, the marks on the withdrawal
line. This remains unclear whether the two Israeli
infractions in the environment of Rmeish and Miskaf Aam
are still kept or not, especially after speaking of having
removed such infractions on the way to Mtolleh, by the
French Press Agency.

Lebanese
official sources warned of the failure of Larsen’s
mission, who had prepared a report speaking of the
non-acceptance of the two countries, Lebanon and Israel,
of the withdrawal line.

A
meeting, which was delayed yesterday, is held today in the
Republic Palace between Larsen and both President Emile
Lahhoud and Prime Minister Salim Hoss, in the presence of
