  • Applying the saying: 'Say your word and walk away', the International Delegate Terje Roed-Larsen announced having defined the 'Israeli withdrawal line', and traveled to New York, to let the UN General Secretary look at what was achieved, in order to close the file concerning the withdrawal verification.


  • While Lebanon reserved towards this line, the Israeli Prime Minister Ihud Barak threatened bombarding the Lebanese territories again. Prime Minister Salim Hoss expressed today his regret for not having the withdrawal line included Lebanese points.
