A
dispute appeared between UN and Israel regarding the
verification of the withdrawal, and the demarcation of
"Miskaf Aam" point, which made the International
Organization postpone the verification few more days.

Relative
to the aforesaid, President Emil Lahhoud agitated other
documents that need to be resolved such as the Palestinian
existence in Lebanon. This question was also one of the
topics dealt with by the American Foreign Minister and the
Syrian Foreign Minister, during their meeting in Cairo,
according to what the newspapers quoted today.

An-Nahar saw that if June was the month of Israeli
withdrawal, and awaiting its results, then July would be
the month for composing lists, and launching electoral
campaigns, in preparation to the Legislative elections
that are expected to begin in August and to end in
September.An-nahar continued saying that the government
will become during that time as a 'discharge work'
government executing the procedures needed for the
operation of elections. This newspaper quoted from
political and effective media having concern with the
election their opposition to give money to the "South
Council. The latter might be either invested for electoral
purposes, and to the benefit of particular candidates, or
would be wasted under the pretense of compensations,
repeating what previously happened in the Displaced Box.
An-nahar quoted from 'Ile De France' establishment that
the latter put a project that will be shown in Beirut, of
3 categories. This newspaper made an interview with its
Lebanese Originated Director General, who explained the
points of such project, and the situation of Beirut in the

an investigation about the demographic situation in future

As-safir
disclosed, from knowing media, that a meeting took place
between the President and the Speaker of House, to define
the roles for all the organizations concerned in the
Emergency Plan, and to strengthen the role of "South
Council" and "Supreme Aiding Organization".

newspaper said that the International convoy Terje Roed-Larsen
met, at 3:00 early in the morning, the day before
yesterday, with consultants and experts, preparing the
draft that will be presented to the UN General Secretary,
Kofi Annan. The same newspaper affirmed that one of the
Lebanese immigrant investors submitted a permission
application in Lebanon, one year ago, and another in
Algeria, where he started working in Algeria after having
such permission, whereas his permission is still
unavailable in Lebanon. "Future" newspaper
published a report regarding the youth's view towards the
Parties that are still encaged within their past quarrels.
