  • The Security Council' session held today concurs with Israeli aggressions started in the morning through raids and artillery bombardment reached civilians in the western region.


  • In Security Council's subject, eleven countries agreed on in the International Force in the South. But, this Force collides with two big Israeli mines, one of them appears through the Lahed Militia Leadership's declaration of keeping a parallel frontier wire with the Occupation electronic wire.


  • The other mine is the Israeli's preservation of Shebaa Farms, although documents exist proving its Lebanese identity, the last of which was a map that President Nabih Berri showed saying that it was prepared by the American Ministry of Defense in 1976. This map shows clearly that Shebaa Farms are within the Lebanese territories.


  • In a Cabinet meeting, President Emile Lahhoud ensured that he will never accept any maneuver that aims to exclude Shebaa Farms from the contents of Decision 425. He warned of risks resulting of such default.


  • Hizbollah declared that its General Secretary, Hasan Nasrallah, met, in Damascus, Lt. General Bachar Asad, and that both sides agreed on the necessity of the withdrawal from Shebaa Farms. They insisted on saying that if such would not happen then the Enemy has to bear the responsibility of his occupation.


  • On another domain, the Cabinet agreed on the Five-Year Development Plan that the CDR had prepared for the years 2000 till 2004.


  • The Lebanese-Egyptian Upper Common Council started its meeting headed by President Salim Hoss and Egyptian Prime Minister, Atef Obeid, who called for optimism at the start of a new era.


  • In the electoral domain, Northern communications occurred towards numerous lists focusing on the two Members', Ahmad Karami and Musbah Ahdab, and a Hariri current representative's, Samir Jisr, agreement, and the probability of having joint by Member Mohammad Abdullatif Kabbara.


  • Hizbollah studies the prevailing of the alliance with Amal Movement in South, for other Lebanese districts on the basis of the numerical and quality harmony. The Party's resources say that there is plenty of time for an accurate selection of some names.


  • In Beirut, communications done by Member Najah Wakim were recorded, in order to form a strong list of youngsters, probably in the First District
