The
International implementation of the Resolution 425 had not
yet begun, this does not mean a shortening from the United
Nations, but, it is due to the speedy Israeli withdrawal
that meant many goals, one of which was to confuse the
Security Council. The Latter will hold its Session after
the Delegate, Terry Larsen's arrival from his tour to
Lebanon, Syria, and Israel, setting a one-page report
about the necessary preparations to implement the
International Resolution and the offered assurances to the
UNIFIL.

Larsen
inquired of the extent of the Lebanese cooperation, and
their reply was that such cooperation is firm, and its

Security Forces and the Police Stations in the liberated
district. The Lebanese side requested him to work on
setting free those arrested in the Israeli prisons. He
replied that he will ask the Israeli side of such, and of

to diplomatic sources, the French President, Jack Chirac,
soak with the Israeli Government for a partial withdrawal
from Shebaa Farms in accordance with the International

of the Republic, Emile Lahhoud, stressed on the Lebanese

threaten unless the withdrawal is comprehensive according
to the maps of the year 1923, liberating Shebaa Farms in
addition to those arrested in the Israeli prisons. Lahhoud
warned of the Palestinian Refugees issue, which is
considered as a timed bomb if it reached no solution.

Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Farouk Sharaa,
insisted on opposing any escalation in the South, and
described Hizbollah's behavior as wise. He said that the
Israeli withdrawal is a victory to Lebanon, the
Resistance, and the Arabs.

The
Chief of Beirut Stock Market, Boursa, Fadi Khalaf,
expected a positive reflection on the Boursa. But, some
big Lebanese Money Dealers explained that the shares and
interests need more time to show, especially after the end
of the elections.
