  • Confirming the full Israeli withdrawal, the international Troops' spread, the mines removal, and the freeing of 18 Lebanese arrested, are the main topics considered in the conversations launched in Damascus, today, by the UN General Secretary's Delegate, Terry Rod Larsen.


  • Larsen informed the Lebanese officers that he noted the Israeli officers in Tel Aviv of Israeli infractions located in various points that are still within the Lebanese territories near the Borders. He indicated having an Israeli promise to withdraw beyond the Borders that the International Troops agree on.


  • President Emile Lahhoud assured to Larsen of the fact that Lebanon considers the International Borders as a measure to the Israeli withdrawal in order to be in accordance with the Resolution 425. He drew the attention towards the Lebanese refusal to the logic so-created as 'Practical Borders'.
